  • 2017 Munich to Venice

    Experience delightful cycling through the Alps from Munich to Venice, through four countries, four climes, and Alpine-Mediterranean environs. The route is moderately hilly with larger ascents on only two days, and then with the major mountain passes being avoided by using a train and tunnel.

  • 2017 Ireland- Wild Atlantic Way

    In the southwest corner of Ireland, the town of Killarney borders on the Killarney National Park, home to such antiquities such as Ross Castle, Torc Waterfall and the start of our adventure into some of wildest parts of Ireland. From here we will set out on our 12-day adventure on the Wild Atlantic Way, including both the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula.

    A ride through some of the most picturesque and beautiful countryside that BC can offer, from the Okanagan to the West Kootenays. The route passes no less than 13 major lakes, such as Okanagan, Shuswap, Arrow, Slocan, Kootenay, Christina, and Osoyoos Lakes. Mountain ranges that are ridden through and sometimes over include the Selkirks, Purcells and the Monashees.

  • 2016 Iran: Ancient Persia and Modern Iran – Bike & Van
    Status: Completed

    A composite four week tour, starting in Shiraz Iran, and consisting of: vehicle touring to historic sites; cycling on backroads and tracks in the deserts of southern Iran; and, biking and trekking in the mountains of north-western Iran. Four of the major cities of Iran will be visited, Shiraz, Esfahan, Tabriz and Tehran. There will be time to visit some of the local historic sites via city and area motor vehicle tours. There will be cycling in the deserts of southern Iran with visits to historic sites and over-nights in villages and oases in the deserts. All cycling days will have support vehicles and cycling leaders. This section will give the rider a chance to interact with local nomadic people and visit ancient caravan routes.
