New Wednesday Ride Series
The Victoria Chapter is introducing a new series of intermediate level rides for mid-week for the fall 2020 season. The rides will be roughly 50-80 km in distance with 400 to 800m of climbing.  We hope to have several leaders, who will take turns leading rides of their choice. A description of each ride will be posted in advance.   The rides will start from the north end of the Switch Bridge by Uptown Mall.  Maximum group size of 6.  Re-grouping will occur at intervals during the ride as required.  If more participants attend the group will be split. RSVP is required.  The rides will be subject to cancellation or re-scheduling for weather.  If you are interested in leading a ride, please contact Bruce Daykin at bdaykin@gmail.com.

Like the Sunday rides, Donna will send out the notice on Sunday afternoons/early evening to advise riders of the upcoming ride on the Wednesday.  You will have to contact the leader by Tuesday at 5 pm if you want to go on the upcoming ride. Only CCCTS members will be allowed on the rides.  Also, like the Sunday rides, there will be washrooms at the break points, and outdoor lunches with food purchase options or bring your own.

A reminder of COVID-19 rules:
1. Stay 2 metres apart always;
2. If this is not done, riders will be banned from group rides; and,
3. DO NOT show up if you have not emailed the leader by the deadline.  Late emails will not be able to join the ride on that day except in the event of cancellations. Please advise the leader if cancelling.
4. Signing a waiver for the fall series on your first day of attendance, will be necessary.  A record of riders on each date will be maintained in the event that contact tracing is required.
