Pie & Ice Cream Celebration @ Jim & Ute's

Pie and Ice Cream!  Wednesday, October 23, 12:30 pm at Jim and Ute Graysons’

4870 Lochside Drive.

At last year’s Autumn celebration we had a homemade pie extravaganza.  Put your baker’s hat on and wow us with your best pie!  Ice cream, coffee and tea supplied.

Pie makers, please send Don a note so that we have a rough idea of how many pies we’ll have.  Don’t want anyone to starve!

If you wish, pie transport can be arranged so you won’t have to be impeded on your morning cycle.  Contact Don’s Dough to Door Delivery at don.mais@telus.net or 250-370-9443.  Your pie is safe with us!’

Friday Show and Go Rides @ Whole Foods

Friday Show and Go Rides @ Whole Foods

This is a ride for anyone wishing to go a faster pace than the Sunday rides.  Often the rides will not have a  leader and there will not be a sweep.  Riders who gather at Whole Foods will determine who will lead and the route.

However, at times, someone will pre-plan a ride.  In this case, an email will go out on Monday or Tuesday to announce the route.

The pace will average 22 – 28 kph (or faster) with an average distance between  50 – 70 km.

We meet in front of Whole Foods (top level of Uptown Mall).  When Bruce Daykin leads the summer rides,  the rides will leave at 9:30 am.  All other times, the rides will leave at 10 am.
