Comments: It’s about a 50 minute drive from the border. Exit 226 Kincaid. Exit there and park at the transit/train station which is to the right as you exit I5. Unfortunately the coffee shop at the train station is now closed but there are washroom.

‘They suggest that everyone bring a lunch as we will be eating outside at Gilkey Square in La Connor which is on the water.

We do pass the Pioneer grocery store on the way into La Connor for those that want to buy lunch. It has a deli and bakery.
