Skating on the Governor-General’s Rink

Start : Governor General Residence Skating Rink,  Grounds of Rideau Hall

Gathering Time : 1PM

Skating Time  : 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Ride with GPS Route: NA

Due to the canal not being ready, I have moved the skating to the Governor General skating rink.  

Please arrive early and park in the neighbourhood around the GG residence. There is no parking on the property. Please be aware of parking restrictions when looking for a spot in the neighbourhood.

We will skate on the rink from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.  Additional information regarding the skating rules will be provided to confirmed skaters.

Apres-Skate : We will follow-up with coffee or hot chocolate at Bridgehead on Beechwood.  

 Group Size : 15-25 people including organizer. Event will open to guests if less than 15 members sign up. 

What to wear/bring : Wear your warm clothes and bring your skates. We can change in then changeroom on the property and leave our boots there.

Lunch : Bring a snack if you wish for after the skating.
