Bob Louie is leading an Emily Carr ride around Victoria. Emily is certainly BC’s most famous artist and perhaps Victoria’s most famous citizen. And she received a Governor General’s Award for her writing. Yet for most of her life she was ignored, disheartened and certainly under-appreciated. Come with Bob to visit many of Emily’s Victoria “landmarks”.  The 40 km ride will start at Whole Foods, through Downtown to her home near Beacon Hill Park, Waterfront, picnic lunch in Oak Bay, then to Mt. Douglas Park where she last painted. We then come back along Emily Carr Drive to the starting point. Bring a lunch.
