The Cross Canada Cycle Tour Society       February 2023 ,  Volume 40 Issue #2

A Message from the Director of Hub and Spokes Linda Graupner

As your new Hub and Spoke director, I am happy to report that our first 2023 hub and spokes now “rolling” in…

We have two rides already posted to the CCCTS website:

Victoria BC – May 1 to 5 – explore beautiful Victoria in the spring, with up to 50 riders and supported by a group of Victoria chapter volunteers

St. Augustine, Florida – November 7 to 15 – check out this historical city and enjoy ocean breezes and palm trees

The following rides are still in the planning stage – watch your CCCTS e-mails and the website for future postings:

Fraser River Canyons and Grasslands, BC  – May or June – a gravel ride with tent camping and group meal preparation in the Fraser River valley, similar to the 2022 Fraser River trip but with a new and exciting route

Napanee, Ontario – 3rd week of September

I welcome your ideas for additional hub and spokes for 2023 and beyond, and am happy to work with you to turn your ideas into reality.  I am looking forward to working with Robin, who has been a great mentor to me in organizing and supporting the development of hub and spokes and tours over the past year.  I had the pleasure of riding with Robin and Dan in November on the Florida hub and spoke and I recognize how fortunate we are to have someone with her skills and knowledge developing exciting tours for all of us!

Robin Howe and Linda Graupner.
