Ride descriptions:

  • Snohomish to Arlington on the Centennial Trail. 45 mi/72 km. This is a very flat ride (1302 ft/396 m) with possibilities for further riding on the trail to the north. Restaurants and grocery store in Arlington.
  • Snohomish to Monroe 35 mi/56 km 1172 ft/357 m elevation gain We’ll follow the Old Snohomish/Monroe highway (not much traffic) into the Main Street of Monroe and loop back south of the Snohomish River on rural roads. There is a possibility of a 17 mi/27 km extension into downtown Everett.
  • Monroe to Index or just to Gold Bar with hike to Wallace Falls 50 miles/80 km elevation: 2959 ft/901 M. This ride will be more challenging. We drive to and start at Lewis Park in Monroe. We will mostly be on rural roads but will be riding a little on Highway 2. Choice of two destinations: the small town of Index (50 Mi/80 km) at the foot of the Cascades or the town of Gold Bar (32 miles/51.5 m RT) with a 6 mile/9.6 km round trip hike to Wallace Falls.
  • Snohomish to Granite Falls 35 mi/56 k Elevation 1237 ft/377 m Shorter ride for our last day so everyone can head home. Another nice rural ride to the small town of Granite Falls and back.
