Ride Description:

Welcome to Bromont in the  beautiful Eastern Townships of Quebec, where the National Capital Region Chapter is planning a H&S from May 24, 2020 until May 30, 2020. Bromont is well known for winter sport activities as well as summer time activities. It is home to the Bromont Velodrome, a 250 meter outdoor cycling track, as well as the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park.

Accommodation Reservations:

Accommodation will be at the Hotel Bromont, tel. 450-534-3790www.hotelbromont.com, 125 Bromont Blvd, Bromont. The cost per room is $99.00 per night, single or double occupancy, plus applicable taxes. A continental breakfast is included. This is a special group rate, so mention you are with the CCCTS.

Once your registration for the Hub and Spoke has been accepted, you are requested to make your own reservations with the Hotel Bromont. The rooms have been blocked until March 24, 2020.  Upon reservation, a one night deposit will be charged to your credit card. Please note the hotel’s cancellation policy: for cancellations before March 24, the deposit will be refunded, after that date you lose your deposit, unless someone from the waitlist will take over your reservation. All cancellations have to be done by email (info@hotelbromont.com).

Our bikes can be stored in a ski-velo room.

Riding Conditions:

There will be a variety of rides scheduled for each day, mostly on quiet paved roads. The Eastern Townships can be hilly. There will be easier and more challenging rides proposed for each day. 

Participants will be informed prior to the start of the Hub & Spoke about our first day's plans. Participants will receive the various ride route maps, cue sheets and profiles  digitally via the Club's Ride with GPS Route Library on the Club website here:  https://ridewithgps.com/organizations/1903-cross-canada-cycle-tour-society/routes. Printed copies of all the routes will also be made available.

A Ride Leader and Ride Sweep will accompany each sub group of cyclists each day.  

Fee Includes:

 The $25  Fee will cover the organizational costs, as well as provision of route maps and cue sheets. 

Fee Does Not Include:

The Fee does not include the cost of meals, happy hour supplies or individual expenses of participants.

Registration and Participant Selection:

Registration will be on the CCCTS website on the date shown. A computerized lottery system and wait list will be utilized in the event that the ride is over-subscribed. A $25 payment is required at the time of registration. The lottery signup will run for 72 hours, after which time the leaders will review the results.

If the ride is not filled to capacity, registration will continue until the May 1, 2020 registration closing date shown.

Registration Fee payments are considered non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Wait listed cyclists who don't make it to the Ride's "Go List" are eligible for refund of their registration fee unless they request removal from the wait list.
