Day 3 Vancouver  –  Richmond & Steveston
The most popular ride, had to be split into 3 groups.  Steveston is very historical and beautiful – a great ride.  Unusual are the Galloway Belted Holsteins that have been on the property thru generations, some say since 1880 71 km 518 m

Day 4 Vancouver — North Vancouver
Over the Lions Gate Bridge thru beautiful off- road trails to the Iron Workers Memorial bridge also known as the 2nd Narrows. Past rail yards and grain elevators where Canadian wheat is shipped all over the world.  I have done all of these rides many times but what made them unique was the massive growth of Vancouver, from the stunning architecture to the unique housing. A world-class city indeed.

Day 5 Vancouver Hub & Spoke. The cycle is over and most cyclists have gone home, but our ferry is booked for 3:00 this afternoon and it is pouring rain.  We decided to go over to the Museum of Anthropology @ UBC only a few blocks away. A must see if you have never been. I have been before, many years ago – it is spectacular and need more than a few hours to take it all in.

A big thank you to Allan, who organized this trip and to all the members who volunteered their time to lead these fabulous rides -thank you!
