Route details: Cycle west along Richardson Side Road, Old Almonte Road and Hamilton Side Road to Golden Line, McCarton, through Appleton Road to Carleton Place. Return to Kanata along 9th Line through Ashton and Stittsville.
Lunch plans: picnic in Riverside Park in Carleton Place (please ignore the lunch details in the RWGPS route). Delicious sandwiches and sweet treats can be purchased at the Olde Towne Bakery near the park.
