Start time :   Group 1 (Lori) : meet at 10:00; Group 2 (Marg) : meet at 10:15. 

                      Each group is limited to 8. 

                      Group 1 will be hiking clockwise ; Group 2 will be hiking counter-clockwise.

Start Location : South March Highlands (main entrance by map display), Parking on Old 2^nd Line east of Klondike Rd junction

Distance : 15 km doing both PWT and Outback trails; Elevation gain  approximately 240 metres.

There is a possibility for participants who are fatigued to shorten the hike to only one of PWT or Outback.  

Leaders will point out the location when on the trail (junction #43) where they can return directly back to the parking area. 

Participants who decide to do the shorter route may be by themselves and are therefore encouraged to download and print the map, take a picture of the map at the start or use RWGPS which shows the trail system and your location.

Lunch Plans : Picnic lunch if weather and temperature permit, otherwise we’ll snack/graze along the way

Other Information : City of Ottawa Conservation Land – maintained by OMBA and shared with hikers ; Wear suitable footwear ; Bring extra layer(s) just in case; Poles are helpful; Bring food and drink.
