Come and join us for our annual Chapter picnic

Where : Selen  has kindly offered us the use of her property at 115 Lansdowne Rd South, just off Hemlock Road, Manor Park. 

Time : Arrival around noon

Four ways to get there :  Choose your Route :

The route is not a loop, it is an out and back.  All of the detours along the Ottawa River and through the downtown core make it far too difficult to lead a group through all of the construction.  The route follows Pinecrest Creek, the Experimental Farm, through Hog’s Back and the pathway along the Rideau River to Beechwood and Hemlock.  The return trip is the reverse.  Expect surprises along the route as things change on a daily basis.

4) Find your Own Way there

What to Bring : A picnic lunch.  Selen will have watermelon, finger sweets and sparkling water.  She also has chairs, tables, cutlery, cups and plates but you might like to bring your own sit-upon. 

Parking : Lots of room for safe storage of bikes (back yard or garage) ; Cars can park along the house and she has  a two car garage so also the driveway, and on Maple Street

Bonus : Selen has offered us the use of her pool.  Bring your swimming togs if you think you might like a dip
