Seal Bay and Local Trails – Mixed Surface

A great day for our 2nd dirt ride of the year. Twelve hardy souls in all did the ride, including 2 on touring bikes with fairly narrow tires.  We stopped at the old Headquarters mill at South Farnham Road. Had lunch at Merville, sitting at the picnic tables and also managed to stop for ice cream at Kitty Coleman Beach.

Thanks to Gregg Strong for leading and Peter Brother for Sweeping and Coordinating. Kudos to Chris Bowman, who went with us on the scouting ride and showed us a dirt connection from Bates up to Loxley road which connects in to the North West corner of Seal Bay Park and on to the 10 km Bike/Horse loop.
