Bikes For Sale
  1. Slingshot full sized folding bike suitable for 5’10” to 6’+ rider. Unique folding design (made by same company 1982 to present, this model @1992 sold at approx. $2,500) with airline-dimension soft case. This bike has been to Europe, Turkey, Mexico, and in Ontario and Quebec many times, and no airline has charged for it, except for the time a travelling companion blurted out, “bike”. When asked what’s in the bag, the answer is: Sporting goods. $900 or best offer. A unique bike; the late Al Hollinger had the only other one in the area. https://www.bikeradar.com/us/mtb/gear/article/throwback-thursday-1992-slingshot-team-issue-45362/ PDF: http://www.slingshotbikes.com/resources/foldtech-steps.pdf
  2.   Cambie Cycles custom made folding bike 20” wheels with 7-speed hub fits a wide range of body sizes with step-through design. With S&S couplers, fits into standard airline suitcase. No airline charge ever paid, no airline has asked what’s inside the suitcase, and post-flight arrives on the luggage carousel, not the oversize area. Suitcase included, requires about 20 minutes to assemble and pack with tools. $900 or best offer.
  3. Trek Model 7.4 FX WSD step-through hybrid bicycle 3×9 speed with carbon fork, Bontrager wheels. Approx 1year old $450 obo. Size: 17.5 inches suitable for male or female 5’6’ to 5’11”

A Victoria member supplied me with these YouTube videos of the local bike scene.  One called “Biketown” has polical overtones but is an entertaining story. The two others are a quick video tour of the Galloping Goose and the Lockside trails.  He is hoping other CCCTS chapters will post videos of their local trails or insights of their local cycling scene.
