Gabriola Island – 28 km

This ride follows the North/South Road loop around the island. From the ferry, we will take the North Road to Silva Bay at the tip end of the island (13 km) with a pit stop at the Silva Bay Marina, then return along the South Road (15 km). Lunch at the Ground Up café in the Village near the ferry; the café is open until 3:00 pm. We will aim for the 3:30 ferry back. The terrain is generally rolling countryside with some steeper parts (all paved). There are some narrow shoulders, so we will travel single file and everyone should dress very visibly.

Meet-up: Gabriola Ferry Terminal – 9:00 am.

Ferry departure: 9:20 am (Regular fare applies on Fridays: $11.60).

E-bikes are permitted on the ferries, but no battery charging is permitted onboard or at the terminals.
