December 24th Day Walk and Non-Time Concert

Start Location: Meet and park at Brewer Arena ,151 Brewer Way, Ottawa, ON K1S 5T1

Group Size: Maximum of 24 participants

Details: We will leisurely walk 4km along the scenic Rideau River paths and streets to take in a Christmas concert at Southminster Church, 15 Aylmer Ave, Ottawa.

After the concert, join us at Bridgehead for a snack or go directly back, 2kms. For the return it’s recommended going west on the Colonel By Walking path to Seneca, turn left and follow it to Brewer arena.

The Concert: A Jazzy Christmas Eve ; “The Mark Ferguson Quartet—Mark Ferguson (piano/trombone), Mike Tremblay (sax/flute), John Geggie (bass), and Jamie Holmes (drums)—swings into the holidays with jazzy takes on seasonal favourites.” 

Concert Details : starts at 12:00 ; lasts 60 minutes ; is by donation ; usually has a printed program, free tea, coffee and cookies (no guarantees)

Preregistration Times: Saturday, December 20 at 9 AM to Tuesday, December 23 at noon
