This route has 619metres of elevation, Station Hill/Alex Fraser Bridge and Matheson Cres in Burnaby (all very doable) while offering a variety of residential/parks/towns and waterfronts – all worth seeing.  To eliminate some distance and one hill 28km can be deducted by meeting at Planet Ice
