The route is not a loop, it is an out and back.  All of the detours along the Ottawa River and through the downtown core make it far too difficult to lead a group through all of the construction.  The route follows Pinecrest Creek, the Experimental Farm, through Hog’s Back and the pathway along the Rideau River to Beechwood and Hemlock.  The return trip is the reverse.  Expect surprises along the route as things change on a daily basis.

Lunch: Picnic Lunch at 115 Lansdowne Road.  Bring food to share.  Our hostess and new social director, Selen Sierra, selensierra@gmail.com will have watermelon, finger sweets and sparkling water.  She also has chairs, tables, cutlery, cups and plates but you might like to bring your own sit-upon. 

Bonus : Selen has offered us the use of her Swimming Pool.  Bring your swimming togs if you think you might like a dip.

Parking: Lots of room for safe storage of bikes (back yard or garage); Cars can park along the house and she has  a two car garage so also the driveway, and on Maple Street
